Our Toronto-based client, one of Canada’s fastest growing agencies focused in experiential marketing, is searching for a #StandApart Account Manager to provide day-to-day account support to a variety of clients and senior team members.

We’re looking for someone who has excellent client management skills, experience organizing national tours, and strong consumer package goods or electronic experience. Oh, and personality is important too – warm fuzzies all around!

Your Day-to-Day:

Account leadership:
  • Work with account teams to develop client proposals: research, idea generation, concept development, budgets,
  • Creative ideas and solutions
  • Strategy/ Competitive analysis
  •  Client interaction
Staff management:
  • Actively mentor Account Coordinators
  • Recommend and support skills training for junior staff
New business / account growth:
  • Seek opportunities to grow existing business on existing accounts
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships
Client reporting:
  • Responsible for the timely and meaningful assembly of all reports

  • Travel to event locations for first-hand observations, team coaching, client management
  • 4-5 years’ experience of relevant industry or agency experience
  • College or university degree or equivalent (Business, Marketing, Sport & Event Marketing, Sponsorship)
  • Strong consumer package goods, electronic, automotive or financial experience
  • Solid understanding of “big picture” client and agency needs
  • Proven strong strategic thinker
  • Solid project management and client relationship skills
  • Excellent team player: passionate, positive, high-energy
  • Professional “can-do” attitude
  • Highly organized and applies strong attention to detail
  • Creative in ideas, account solutions and strategic “out-of-the-box” thinking
  • Solid understanding of the experiential marketing industry and latest trends
  • Leadership skills & resourceful / problem solver

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.


We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
