STAT is looking for an experienced research analyst with a knack for creating compelling marketing content to join their growing team.

About the position:
Content is the cornerstone of our awareness and campaign strategy. Unique research is what we’re known for, and are looking for someone to take the reins of our editorial calendar.
Your job is to produce thought-provoking, data-driven content that will engage our target audience at all stages of the customer journey. As the in-house ‘data journalist’, you leverage your curiosity to dive into industry trends to identify the most pressing issues to investigate. You mine the data, scrutinize it, and come up with a compelling narrative.

  • Build a predictable, scalable content engine.
  • Develop strategies for the publication of content through various mediums including whitepapers, blogs, articles, and interactive microsites.
  • Create and execute the editorial calendar including ideation, resource scheduling, project management, research, writing, promotion.
  • Hypothesize, experiment, and analyze large data sets.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and partners to scale resources as necessary, including quote negotiation and project management.
  • Balance and prioritize resources to meet timelines.
  • Measure and report on audience engagement with the content we produce.
  • Maintain a high level of quality & consistency for all published work.
  • Be an expert in what’s important in the industry and to our target market.  
  • Act as a leader in the team, contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.

  • You’re a passionate data-driven storyteller. You couple your methodical research mindset with your excellent copywriting skills.
  • You’re a pro communicator.
  • You have the kind of solid project management experience required to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and resources.
  • You’re a pro Excel-er. Data analysis is your jam.  
  • You’re not intimidated by technology or the ever-changing landscape of the internet.
Bonus points for:
  • Editorial background
  • Basic proficiency with HTML, CSS, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with market research tools
  • Managerial experience

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.


We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
