STAT is looking for an experienced research analyst with a knack for creating compelling marketing content to join their growing team.

About the position:
Unique, research-driven content is the cornerstone of our awareness and campaign strategy. The focus of this role is to use data to drive industry-first research findings and discussions. You will accomplish this by conducting research, data mining and analysis, and identifying compelling narratives. By performing this research, you will uncover industry trends and recommend data-backed best practices.
Your responsibilities will include running research projects, designing experiments and analyzing data generated by STAT and other sources to discover patterns and insights which can be used to develop engaging thought-leadership content. Working off hypotheses presented by the STAT team, or originating and exploring your own theories, you will create outlines and support in writing and publishing for our SEO industry audience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute research projects for research papers, marketing campaigns, product launches and more.
  • Maintain a regular cadence for the release of research-focused content.
  • Formulate hypotheses, search for patterns, and critically interrogate large data sets to uncover compelling narratives.
  • Design scripts to directly query and analyze internal and external data sources to package together clear, actionable findings.
  • Work with the broader marketing team to plan, schedule, and execute the publication and promotion of your pieces via the blog, social media, advertising, and other channels.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and partners to scale resources as necessary, including quote negotiation and project management.
  • Balance and prioritize resources to meet timelines.
  • Maintain a high level of quality & accuracy for all published work.
  • Be a critical thinker and expert in what’s important in the industry and to our target market.
  • You have expert-level proficiency with an analytics tool like KNIME or SPSS.
  • You have some proficiency with SQL, R, Python (or other scripting languages).
  • You have some proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • You have a methodical research mindset.
  • You’re a pro communicator.
  • You have the kind of solid project management experience required to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and resources.
  • You’re not intimidated by technology or the ever-changing landscape of the internet.
