Senior Designer

Are you the first person to register for every Creative Mornings event? Are you regularly updating your Behance portfolio with clean, modern digital and print work? Can you juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and mentor team members without missing a beat?

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking an experienced designer to create compelling designs, ensure all work is on-brand, work with the cross functional team and mentor junior designers. If you have an eye for impeccable design, set the bar high for creativity, and love managing projects to launch consider applying for this exciting position.


Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Liaison with cross functional team members (Content, Video, and Design) to maximize efficiency and quality results
  • Mentor design team members
  • Effectively communicate key team leads to anticipate, resolve, and prevent errors design and workflow
  • Recommend process and technical changes to improve efficiently
  • In collaboration with key team members develop creative integrated campaign to elevate the brand, and marketing collateral to engage and attract leads
  • Pitch creative campaigns to stakeholders and team members
  • Design management to ensure consistency across all brand touch points
  • Create effective design deliverables across a variety of different channels


Experience:
 
  • 5-7 years working in consumer-facing design or agency work
  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Creativity, curiosity and tenacity, with a proven track record for getting things done
  • Passionate about branded experiences, with excellent knowledge and instincts around brand, design and trends
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-orientation: from typography to alignment, you produce meticulous work on deadline
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Driven, optimistic, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional leadership and communications skills
  • A solid understanding of advertising principles for both digital and print
  • Ability to give and receive valuable and useful feedback and critiques, clearly defending and championing your ideas and work
  • Experience managing and/or mentoring junior designers


Nice to haves:
 
  • Basic understanding of CSS, HTML, and web technologies
  • Experience with animation and motion graphics in Adobe AfterEffects
  • Digital Illustration skills
  • Photography skills
  • SaaS category experience
