Smart Savvy is pleased to team up with our newest client, an established technology company with a successful history in retail and B2B sales. Our client is looking to build out their division of fully managed IT services, and is seeking an innovative and energetic Business Development Manager to lead success in this market.

As the Business Development Manager, you will lead the charge in the expansion of clientele to strengthen the fully managed IT services portfolio. You will bring the perfect balance of street smarts with “A-player” selling best practice, and technical knowledge of the industry to back it up. It is essential that you have a winning attitude and strategic planning skills that #standapart from all your competitors.
  • Acquire new clients for the organization’s fully managed IT services
  • Drive company growth and success using passion for sales and adherence to corporate goals and purpose
  • Maintain industry and community relationships with various business associations and strategic partners to educate on this expansion of services.
  • Assist with execution of direct and indirect marketing tactics to source leads
  • Conduct initial discovery meetings with clients and presentations at a "boardroom level"
  • Proactively manage follow-up schedules with prospective clients
  • Collaborate with team members to educate and expand IT managed services to existing accounts.
Your Credentials
  • 3+ years’ winning track record selling in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge and experience in the technology industry with a focus on IT managed services
  • Exceptional prospecting skills and closing abilities (show us your wins)
  • More than a working knowledge of computer hardware – demonstrated in-depth understanding of servers, remote and on-site workstations, etc.
  • You ideally have a degree, but that alone won’t cut it. You also have strong experience and maturity in selling and networking.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with CRM’s
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
