About You
 
  • 2-3 years’ marketing experience in the retail sector, with related post-secondary education
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical decision making and issues resolution abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for both internal and external clients, with a commitment to supporting customer service and supplier relations
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing team-player who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment


About the Role
 
  • Day-to-day management & execution of marketing programs including advertising planning, creative/messaging, consumer promotions and merchandising for the needs of the brands.
  • Supports and executes marketing, promotional and sponsorship initiatives along with partnerships liaising with merchandising, operations, communications and advertising
  • Supports local store initiatives, priority market strategies and planning/executing new store and store re-opening marketing plans
  • Partners with key stakeholders (e.g. creative, production, marketing, stores, suppliers) to ensure effective communication and implementation of promotional plans
  • Liaise and communicate with supplier partners on joint marketing promotions
  • Integrate ideas and feedback from all internal and external resources regarding new marketing concepts and programs for banners
  • Assists with post-analysis of programs to ensure objectives are achieved and provide recommendations to improve marketing programs and sponsorships
