Our client, an established Lower Mainland leader and innovator in Communications and Security is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, interested in personal growth who is ready to take on a new challenge. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll proactively research the market and engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth. Using sales and marketing techniques, you’ll develop new client relationships and educate them on product and service offerings.

About the role:
  • Develop workable strategies for marketing and sales generation
  • Drive sales and profitability by developing innovative solutions to meet client goals
  • Mature business relationships with various influencers to identify potential opportunities
  • Continue the development of company’s profile and raise awareness of service/product offerings
  • Achieve sales goals through sales pipeline development, sales leads, understanding sales metrics, and other plans or assigned sales functions and processes
About you:
  • Creative, driven, passionate
  • Background knowledge and/or experience in Audio Visual or Fibre Optics considered an asset
  • Established network in the industry
  • Excellent motivational communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for details
  • Technology savvy
  • Ability to perform and be productive under pressure

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.


We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
