Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a sport/luxury automotive group in Vancouver, in their search for a Marketing Manager. Reporting to the President and CEO, this role leads a small team in planning and executing marketing campaigns and events for the various brands within the group. About the role:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic planning and partnerships; customer relationship management; digital marketing; social media; branding; and event planning. Major tasks include:
  • Develop annual marketing plans with KPIs; execute plans and measure success
  • Responsible for keeping marketing materials on brand across digital and print channels
  • Analyze consumer behaviour, surveys, and data to inform future strategy and plans
  • Lead marketing team members to deliver on marketing activities, on time and on budget
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and external suppliers; through events, promotional activities, customer service initiatives
  • Manage the CRM process and database; lead outbound communications for sales leads
  • Lead digital marketing strategy and execution, coordinate regular reports to share analytics
  • Responsible for quarterly eNewsletter for external promotions
  • Develop schedule of events for external marketing including budget and team participation

About you:
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or related area
  • 5+ years’ of digital marketing experience at the leadership level
  • Proven track record managing SEO, conducting A/B testing, landing page optimization
  • Strong numerical, analytical and data processing skills
  • Experienced and proficient in social media marketing
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with online search and analytics platform(s), e.g. Google Analytics, AdWords, DoubleClick, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe Audience, Criteo, etc.
  • Some graphic design ability an asset, with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite + HTML and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of developing / publishing websites, email marketing, CASL and WordPress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Innovative thinker, able to work from concepts through to execution of marketing strategies designed to drive client engagement
  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful multichannel marketing programs.
  • Available for occasional travel within North America
