Marketing Manager

You are a hands-on, “let me at it” marketing pro, with the agility to move from whiteboard to keyboard with a few deft moves. Your ideas are clever, your strategy on target, and your original content is grammatically flawless and demonstrates keen understanding of your audience. To keep everything in check, you have tried-and-true planning tools to manage content and social, and keep your eye on digital trends in planning and analytics.

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a fast-growing eCommerce company, in their search for a Marketing Manager. Reporting directly to the COO, this role has ownership for all aspects of marketing and communications including digital and traditional channels. About the role:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for content and digital marketing, partner and channel marketing, internal and external communications. Major task areas include:
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and manage content for web, company blog, and social media channels, including performance analytics
  • Develop and execute marketing programs including content marketing, SEO, retargeting, etc., to increase awareness and create leads; create reports on associated marketing KPIs
  • Build marketing assets including product data sheets, sales kits, and customer success stories
  • Develop and maintain partner relationships with external vendors, product resellers, etc.
  • Collaborate with key partners on a marketing calendar of joint programs/events
  • Lead email marketing campaigns to multiple groups of external stakeholders
  • Support company leadership with internal communications initiatives
  • Lead public relations activities and events as required


About you:
 
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business or related area
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, including social media management, SEO/SEM, and PPC/retargeting campaigns
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Confident and persuasive communicator with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors
  • Manages multiple projects while adhering to timeline and budget
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and understanding of HTML, CSS
