Manager, Marketing Communications

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a real estate company at the forefront of the industry, in their search for a Marketing Communications Manager. Located in the Vancouver head office, this growth-oriented role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing, and will lead and execute inbound marketing and communications programs across digital and traditional channels. About the role:

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing, project managing and executing the company’s inbound marketing and marketing communications strategy across digital and traditional channels, and across all stages of the consumer lifecycle (awareness, acquisition, cultivation and retention). Main responsibilities of focus for the role to include:
 
  • Lead cross-functional design and marketing staff and outside agencies in the role of project/campaign manager to develop, project manage and execute multi-channel marketing programs including digital, print, and events
  • Build and manage project schedules and campaign calendars to provide transparency and ensure delivery on budget and deadline
  • Write, edit, produce and execute consumer-facing content across all marketing communications channels to increase brand awareness and consumer engagement and action
  • Make effective use of enterprise-level CRM and marketing automation tools to build templates and processes to improve program efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive the development of the corporate internal communications strategy and calendar
  • Optimize channel and campaign performance through testing, regular metrics reporting, analysis, and rapid iteration
  • Provide leadership to marketing and sales team members through coaching and training


About you:
 
  • 5+ years’ marketing experience, including 2 years of hands-on management experience, in multi-channel inbound marketing across digital and traditional channels
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or related area
  • Experience in using inbound/content marketing to drive leads, user adoption and sales growth within the technology industry
  • Tech-savvy with deep expertise utilizing enterprise-level CRM and marketing automation system(s), as well as metrics/reporting software such as Google Analytics
  • Significant experience in content creation, with an extensive portfolio of writing and other content that reflects your ability to engage consumers, incite action, elevate a brand, and ultimately deliver business results
  • Strong project management skills; ability a to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent work yourself, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to rally, motivate and influence stakeholders, peers, agencies and remote contractors
