Account Manager

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a contemporary marketing agency, in their search for an Account Manager. This role works directly with clients in developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics to meet their business goals, including the area of social media, marketing, public relations, and advertising. About the role:
 
  • Develop and maintain client relationships including regular communication, attending events, preparing reports, and reviewing service agreements
  • For assigned clients, develop strategies, plan campaigns, and execute various tactics, including leading content development for social media
  • Collaborate with creative team to ensure work is on time, on budget, and meets quality/brand standards (e.g. for content, photography, art direction)
  • Schedule photographers and influencers as required
 

About you:
 
  • 3+ years’ marketing experience (client-facing or internal role)
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or public relations
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communications skills
  • Well-versed in the principles and tools for digital and social media marketing
  • Collaborates with team members to develop solutions
  • Comfortable in analytics and reporting tools for website and social media channels

Interview

We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
