Smart, Savvy and Associates has partnered with our client, a digital agency in Bellingham, Washington, in their search for a Senior Project Manager. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, this role supports the work of the agency’s clients, global industry leaders in the healthcare industry. About the role:
  • Develop detailed project plans, create and manage project schedules to ensure project deliverables on time, on budget, and within project scope
  • Lead projects to success by ensuring quality of results and delivery within defined project scope
  • Learn about clients’ business goals, products, and project objectives to best plan and lead projects to successful outcomes
  • Grow and maintain excellent relationships with clients and vendors; function of main contact person for clients related to projects
  • Collaborate with the client services team through identification, mitigation, of leading issues/risks through to resolution
  • Build status reports for projects, and lead meetings to review/update project status.

About you:
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management of digital projects; agency setting preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of a range of tools and methodologies for effective project management, including management of risk, project scope, and change
  • Clear and confident communication skills with strong ability to lead and facilitate meetings, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate employees and project teams
  • Hands-on experience with digital strategy projects with scope including marketing/creative process, software development life cycles, web technologies
  • Analytical thinker with ability to break down work in a detailed and organized manner, and coordinate required tasks, decisions, outcomes
  • Works effectively through tight deadlines while observing task prioritization, course correction, and maintaining a sense of humour
