Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a national outdoors and activewear brand, in their search for an eCommerce Analyst. Reporting to the eCommerce Operations Manager, this role is key in supporting opportunities for website-driven revenue through identification of data-driven insights and actions. About the role:

The eCommerce Analyst leads all data-driven work related to the company website and user experience, and also collaborates on web-related projects and programs. Main areas of responsibility include:
  • Create a data-driven culture through creating automated dashboards and managing data quality and collection
  • Improve user experience through ongoing data analysis and identification of opportunities
  • Participate as a subject expert in evaluating and measuring website features
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to the company’s website
  • Create reports to compare web results against KPIs and strategic objectives
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing; coordinate tag and tracking snippet implementation
About you:
  • 3+ years of experience with web analytics and user experience
  • Expert-level user of Google Analytics, and ability to comprehend and process data into key insights and actions
  • Expert-level SQL skills, and ability to extract data to aggregate and summarize
  • Good understanding of various analytic and eCommerce tools such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, R, SAS, Google Tag Manager
  • Solid understanding of web operations including merchandising principles; communications; content and mobile best practices and strategies; architecture and navigation
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to explain complex topics to others in writing and through verbal presentation
How you’ll #StandApart:
  • Post-secondary education in ecommerce, technology, or computer science
  • Experience with dynamic recommendation engine and personalization tools
  • Experience in web development and/or programming
