Sales Director

You are an accomplished leader who is a strong coach and mentor to other sales professionals. You’re equally skilled in advising leadership regarding sales performance, developing sales strategy for your sales team and leading sales activities with your top clients. You build relationships through being genuine, by listening, and through consistent delivery of results – you are someone who “gets stuff done.” You’re experienced in – or very in tune with – the real estate market, and looking for a new sales leadership challenge with a top performing company.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, a large and established marketing firm located in Downtown Vancouver, in their search for a Sales Director. Reporting to the VP Sales Operations, this key role works in collaboration across all departments, and directly with clients. If you are an experienced sales leader with a track record of developing and leading implementation of sales strategies, ideally within the real estate industry, consider applying for this exciting opportunity!

About the Role:
 
  • Build and retain a sales team of top performers to be prepared for continued company growth; support integration of new hires into the team through the onboarding program
  • Coordinate team member assignments to best serve each project, the company brand, and maximize the skills of each sales consultant
  • Prepare and maintain project contracts; provide updates for all internal departments and the assigned consultant
  • Conduct training on best practice related to company policies, corporate programs, and sales processes; continually review through informal coaching
  • Support consultants to succeed with projects through project debriefing with marketing and introductions to clients; provide support to other department team members to understand project details and client needs related to specific projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients; co-lead site integration meetings for new projects
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and build out program lifecycles by providing sales expertise
  • Participate in development of milestone events, in collaboration with project team members; prepare sales team members to fully participate in all events
  • Manage sales program related to pricing and inventory, using planned pricing strategy
 
About You:
 
  • 7+ years’ results-focused sales experience, ideally in the real estate sector
  • Strong leadership ability with a focus on a positive work environment and development of team member skills
  • Knowledgeable of the real estate sector with emphasis on development of sales strategy
  • Enjoys team environment, with regular interaction with other departments and sales colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization, with clients, and external stakeholders
  • Incredibly energetic and seeking a role where you will build a team, contribute to individual development, and support organization growth
