Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, an award winning visual effects agency, in their search for a Talent & Engagement Marketing Manager. This senior role on the Talent Acquisition team will report into the Head of Recruitment Services. You will support the recruitment, engagement, and retention of top talent by curating the people-brand and messaging, and strategizing with various business units to decide how and where to best deliver this message.

About the role:
  • Responsible for the overall marketing strategy and tactics for talent acquisition
  • Responsible for creating the people brand and EVP (globally), and strategize how the company will use this messaging: social media, events, etc.
  • Support development of the Employee Value Proposition to support recruitment activities
  • Develop the marketing plan for talent acquisition and employee engagement in alignment with corporate marketing strategy
  • Manage and develop marketing team members
  • Collaborate with internal teams on shared marketing materials
  • Develop collateral e.g. video, for diverse appeal to both local and global audiences
  • Create and execute employee engagement program in collaboration with the global HR team
  • Lead development, planning and execution of key projects to support the success of the talent acquisition function on a global scale
About you:
  • 9+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Strong social media skills with ability to develop digital communication and calendar plans
  • Excellent budget management skills with good understanding of ROI
  • Enjoys balancing high-level strategy work with managing day-to-day tactical activities
  • Skilled with software for digital/branding applications to develop assets
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, and problem-solve independently

  • Cross-channel experience on multiple social channels e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Bi-lingual in English and French
