Content Marketing Manager

You soak up social media as constantly evolving marketing channels: as you swipe, tap and scroll, you’re hyper-aware of what brands are doing well and what is lost on their audience. A whiz with words, you can translate tech lingo into friendly prose and tweak it for top performance. You’re equally skilled in storytelling through video, and use the right balance of words and images to communicate to your audience.

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our newest client, Instant Financial, in their search for a Content Marketing Manager. This key role will support the Director of Marketing, and will develop the company's online presence and through written content and videos/webinars. About the role:
 
  • Lead content marketing planning and brainstorm sessions
  • Lead a team of in-house and freelance writers
  • Create and manage the content marketing calendar
  • Produce highly engaging content such as blog posts, whitepapers
  • Produce videos for social media
  • Produce and host webinars to generate leads and increase engagement

About you:
 
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, public relations, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading content marketing, social media marketing, or digital marketing, including social video production
  • Excellent writing skills and grammar knowledge, with ability to write a range of content from blog posts to whitepapers and case studies
  • Proven experience leading social media campaigns to increase followers and engagement
  • Experience with email marketing and email automation tools (e.g. InfusionSoft)
  • Skilled with analytics and a/b testing for optimization of content
  • Knowledge of how all digital marketing channels connect and work together to drive leads.
