Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our newest client, Gryphon Development, in their search for a Creative Director. Reporting to the CEO, this new leadership role will support the overall brand through building brand voice and awareness through storytelling. About the role:
 
  • Lead corporate branding initiatives and storytelling opportunities through traditional and digital media
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external agencies (social, paid advertising, communications, public relations), providing clear direction and feedback
  • Manage all sub-contractors to maintain quality of work and brand voice
  • Copywriting for print, social and advertising channels
  • Work directly with CEO to develop creative concepts and strategies
  • Liaise with company mentor in Taiwan to continue to understand and build brand concept and design


About you:
 
  • 10+ years’ of experience in creative fields including graphic design, arts, writing/journalism along with leadership experience (small team / external contractors)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (available for occasional travel to Taiwan), with confident presentation skills
  • Experience in copywriting, blogging, magazine column designs and edits, social media management, and brand management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of graphic fundamentals, print and web capabilities, as well as marketing design process
  • Awareness of current trends in advertising and design in real estate industry
  • Knowledge of the software and applications involved in the creative process
  • Skills in managing people, projects and resources
