Marketing Analyst

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, an iconic Canadian brand, in their search for a Marketing Analyst. As a member of the Marketing/Communications team, this role will provide in-depth analysis of data to support marketing campaigns and sales strategy. About the role
 
  • Monitor relevant KPIs and develop regular reports (weekly, monthly, annual), along with evaluation of programming effectiveness
  • Identify and communicate actionable member and campaign insights
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities and provide recommendations
  • Consult and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Provide data expertise and support for marketing automation, CRM and customer journey mapping efforts
  • Provide analytics support to content marketing efforts
 
About you
 
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, business or related area
  • 3-5 years related experience in a B2C environment
  • Advanced SQL skills, experience with BI tools (e.g. Cognos, Power BI), visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), statistical packages (e.g. R, SAS)
  • Analytical by nature: able to develop analytics plans that support business needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with lots of details, for multiple stakeholders, while keeping your cool and managing your time effectively
  • Great communication skills: you listen to understand, and clearly communicate complex ideas into plain language
  • Natural storyteller: you make data analysis come alive through relevant stories that can easily be shared through digital marketing and ideally, you’re knowledgeable in R/Python
