Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (1-year contract)
 
Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, a successful and highly recognized business in the travel industry, in their search for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Manager (one-year contract mat leave cover).

You’re a strategic marketing leader who can see the bigger picture and believes in the power of building strong relationships with team members, customers, and partners. Your main responsibilities will be to develop media plans, data warehousing and analytics, project management, and team management. You love a good challenge buoyed by the strength of a motivated team, and you’re ready to take an exceptional brand to new heights through multi-media campaigns.

About the Role:
 
  • Digital strategy – establish KPIs and analytics to align with high-level business / marketing desired outcomes, lead digital media planning to drive traffic, collaborate with other team leaders
  • Web analytics – lead full funnel enterprise web analytics, analyze data to develop practical solutions
  • Budget management – this role oversees a significant budget with a focus on efficient spends for highest returns
  • New initiative leadership – use data, insights, partner input to move projects forward in e-commerce, marketing automation and technology, MarTech Stack, and database growth
  • Team leadership – lead the teams responsible for driving leads and sales through execution of digital marketing plans
 
About You: 
 
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related area (digital focus)
  • 8+ years in marketing focused on digital technology, global experience and experience in both B2B and B2C an asset
  • 4+ years in direct leadership and individual / team development
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentations
  • Hands-on experience and strength in technical skills related to digital marketing: SEM, social media, email marketing; marketing automation, CMS, CRM, e-commerce; data analytics (Google analytics); sales funnels, UX, A/B tests for campaigns; UX/UI for website redevelopment
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with experience managing complex budgets
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects, staying on timeline and achieving desired outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Proven experience building strong relationships internally and externally
