Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, a highly recognized e-commerce business, in their search for a Manager, Digital Marketing. This key role reports to the Director of Marketing Communications and is based in Downtown Vancouver. If you are a confident and entrepreneurial marketer who is looking for an opportunity with great potential for growth, this may be your next role!
 
About the Role:
 
  • Direct response strategy – lead paid search and paid social programs, including monitoring, analysis, recommendations; develop pay-per-click campaigns
  • Biddable strategy – develop and lead optimization opportunities; lead monitoring of all related metrics e.g. competition, impressions, budget caps
  • Technology trends – monitor and evaluate growth opportunities arising from new digital trends and tactics e.g. search engine, paid search, paid media
  • Team leadership – lead a small team of marketers, using coaching and development strategies to build a strong team of empowered, skilled individuals
 
About You: 
 
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or related area
  • 5+ years in marketing focused on online B2B sales / direct response strategy
  • 2+ years in direct leadership and individual / team development and coaching
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentations
  • Demonstrable end-to-end online marketing campaign development and management
  • Hands-on experience and strength in technical skills related to digital marketing: HTML, CSS, Javascript; analytics (Google, Adobe), online search, etc.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to manage complex data spreadsheets
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
