Manager, Database Marketing and Analysis

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client in their search for a Manager, Database Marketing and Analysis. This new position reports to the Director of Marketing and will be part of a rapidly growing area of the organization. About the role

As the in-house CRM expert in the Marketing department, you will analyze the customer database to uncover and present insights that drive marketing campaigns, aimed to grow and retain business. You will also collaborate with internal teams to support the evaluation, business assessment, and delivery of new products and innovations.

Key responsibilities
 
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing team members to develop, prioritize, execute and evaluate acquisition and retention campaigns, including providing insights on target audience segments and potential promotional offers
  • Analyze and provide customer insights based on data from the CRM, research studies, customer engagement surveys and transactional systems
  • Lead, develop and coach team members
  • Become the CRM system super-user, influencing its direction, strategic use, data collection, and reporting
  • Create reports, scorecards and dashboards to help improve marketing ROI
  • Apply analytical expertise to identify new cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Support strategic planning at the Executive level through reports, insights and recommendations
 
About you
 
  • Hands-on experience in using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics expertise an asset) to report on and analyze data for business insights
  • 5+ years’ experience working with/supporting a sales or marketing team
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business, economics or related area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business process and strategy
