Director, Product Marketing

You are a self-directed product marketer who is passionate about finding innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Customer experience is always forefront of your thinking, and you are an expert writer of key messaging to suit your target audience. You are experienced in marketing commerce or enterprise software, and you’re ready to make your mark on an international level.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, a digital commerce industry leader, in their search for a Director, Product Marketing to work remotely in the US. This new role will support a substantial growth phase for the company, and will drive digital business transformation on an international level. About the Role
 
  • Lead team of Competitive Analysts and Product Marketers with direct leadership of small team
  • Responsible for product marketing activities: product positioning, developing messaging, content creation and delivery
  • Develop creative and targeted presentations to share vision, product strategy, business value, etc.
  • Deliver messaging and value propositions to internal teams to facilitate awareness and understanding
  • Write documents to share product value within the industry (e.g. white papers, marketing tools, website copy, media releases, etc.)
  • Collaborate on creative products such as product demos, videos, etc.; work closely with Marketing Team on creation of promotional assets
  • Measure effectiveness of campaigns and report through metrics to the leadership team
 
About You
 
  • 7+ years’ experience product marketing in enterprise and/or commerce software
  • 3+ years’ leadership experience
  • Masterful communicator with ability to write with persuasion and creativity
  • Confident public speaker with dynamic presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinker who quickly adapts to growth and change, and maintains focus on the customer experience
  • Collaborates across tiers and divisions, seeks and implements feedback and ideas from other team members, is approachable and team-focused
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Available for international travel up to 25%
