Email Marketing Specialist (Player Development)

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, an established BC organization, in their search for a Email Marketing Specialist (Player Development). This two-year temporary role is based in Vancouver, and is a key member of the marketing team. About the Role:
  • Generate and initiate customer development strategies and plans that integrate and align with stakeholder business units
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create, execute, and monitor all key components of the organization’s customer development programs including campaign briefs, target profiles, budgeting, and execution
  • Monitor multiple customer campaigns, proactively resolving issues and apply action plans as needed
  • Measure and communicate results of key customer development programs
  • Act as a CRM and customer marketing subject matter expert, implementing best practices and staying on top of industry trends and emerging techniques
  • Identify innovative opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Proactively builds and maintains productive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to ensure successful execution of customer initiatives
About You:
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years’ related experience, with experience in CRM and/or customer/retention/loyalty marketing
  • Understands complex business issues: thinks analytically, creative problem-solver
  • Builds relationships throughout organization, and is effective in cross-functional relationships, with excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills, confidence in prioritizing and making decisions with limited information
