Marketing Communications Manager

You are a confident and efficient communicator, who excels equally at strategy and tactical execution. You’re at ease with all people from busy executives to the social media-scrolling public – you listen to understand, and you communicate to be understood.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our newest client, Slater Vecchio LLP, one of Canada’s top personal injury firms, in its search for a Marketing Communications Manager. The position provides support and guidance to the firm’s lawyers, director of administration, and the human resources team. About the Role:
 
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s marketing program; provide direction and design on website, collateral, advertising, and other visual communications media
  • Manage website, including updates, creating and posting new content, evaluating performance, etc., working with outside agencies as required
  • Responsible for development of the firm’s social media marketing, engagement, and content strategy; create content and manage social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Provide internal and external communications support and guidance
  • Manage internal communications resources, including wiki and the firm’s newsletter


About You:
 
  • More than 4 years’ experience in marketing and communications, including social media
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (marketing, communications, journalism)
  • Excellent writing/editing skills, with a creative flare for storytelling and document design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for basic graphics, document production and video editing
  • Good understanding of measuring results through performance analytics e.g. Google Analytics
  • Excellent project management skills, with unfailing adherence to timelines and budget
  • Collaborative, results-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic
