Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with our client, a global leader in online retail, in the search for an Advertising Manager to join their Marketing team. The role requires a team-focused digital marketing strategy professional with entrepreneurial thinking, interpersonal skills and superior technical ability. 

About the role:  
 
  • Manage paid media strategy and tactical planning, in collaboration with key stakeholders, with a focus on driving revenue, leads, customer acquisition/retention
  • Responsible for performance marketing channels, with an assigned portfolio including  paid search/video/social, comparison shopping engines, display/retargeting, comparison shopping engines
  • Work closely with agencies to manage creative direction, media briefings, ensure tracking to KPIs
  • Collaborate with product/engineering teams to create new opportunities for digital marketing
  • Build regular reports for performance, revenue/forecasts; manage budget, payment processes
  • Build new digital strategies through evaluation and testing of data/analytics, and following trends in digital media
 
About you:  
 
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or related area
  • 3+ years’ in e-commerce, specifically managing paid media for online sales
  • Experienced in advertising campaigns for multiple digital channels
  • In-depth understanding of Google AdWords, Google/Adobe Analytics, Ad Servers, etc., and good understanding of CSS, HTML, Excel
  • Goal-focused with experience in managing KPIs, using analytics to develop and redefine strategies
  • Successfully balances multiple projects, with an eye for detail, problem-solving and confidence to make decisions
