Head of Sales

Smart, Savvy + Associates is excited to partner with Keboola, a rapidly growing data engineering company, in their search for a Head of Sales to lead their North American operation. Keboola is a small and decentralized global organization that is 100% customer funded, and a familiar face in the BC Tech industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales role is based out of the central office in White Rock, but will spend more time out of the office than sitting in a chair. About the Role
  • Given existing customers, product and service team – you will formalize our sales operations, build sales enablement, hire a sales team – basically, you’ll make it all happen.
  • Your knowledge of sales operations, development and processes will be a force of inspiration for the current team and new sales team members
  • Work alongside marketing team to influence vision and strategy
About You

The Basics:
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales leadership, preferably in tech, and ideally data-related SaaS
  • You’ve built a successful sales team from the ground up
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software
  • Highly experienced with CRM systems and other tools of the trade
How You’ll Stand Apart:
  • You’re an entrepreneur – you see opportunity, not a job description
  • You’re humble. You are still learning every day.
  • Experience with HubSpot or equivalent tool

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.


We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
