Account Executive

You are an experienced SaaS sales professional who has mastered the skills of persuasion and persistence. You’re known for your tenacity as much as for your ability to truly understand your customers’ needs, and to deliver results for both your client and your company.

Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with our client, a fast-growing company that is posed to be an anchor in the Vancouver tech industry, in their search for an Account Executive. This key team member will draw on their previous experience working with sales/business development reps to maintain focus on direct relationships with current and prospective customers. If you excel at sales conversion and learning new technologies, this could be your next role!

About the role:
 
  • Respond to inquiries, pre-qualified leads and conduct product demos for qualified sales leads
  • Adhere to sales cycle, while balancing conversion and longer-term business opportunities
  • Influence decision-makers through persuasion and understanding/meeting their needs


About you:
 
  • 3+ years’ experience as a SaaS Account Executive
  • Proven success record of exceeding targets and increasing customer base
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment working closely with a growing team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical terminology
  • Strong business and technical aptitude with a proven record in learning new technologies

Online Screening

If we've contacted you with an opportunity that you're interested in pursuing, we'll put you through a screening process called the Online Career Profile. It's an online questionnaire that allows us to get to know you more in-depth: what you've achieved, where you want to go, your views on corporate culture. It takes about an hour to complete, but we promise the investment will be worth the return so we can find you a perfect match.

Interview

We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
