Email Marketing Specialist

Our client, an award-winning software company, is looking for a customer-centric and energetic email marketing specialist to join their growing marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will first help implement a new marketing automation platform. Your focus will then shift to developing and executing on holistic email marketing campaigns that help generate and nurture leads and overall pipeline health. If you’re a right-brained and left-brained marketer, with a passion for all elements of marketing automation, then don’t wait to apply to this exciting position!

  • Organically grow the company’s email list
  • Develop documentation and road maps for internal email marketing processes
  • Maintain the company’s Sender Score, Can-SPAM compliance, and list health metrics
  • Collaborate with content specialist to ensure that email copy and landing pages motivate action and drive results
  • Develop and leverage lead nurturing workflows that help identify sales ready leads
  • A/B test new messaging, techniques, and hypotheses across customer communications
  • Help maintain data integrity of the contact records in the company database
  • Partner with marketing and other teams to identify and nurture key customer targets
  • Categorize contact lists based on customer behaviors (ie. Past email engagement and website interactions)
  • Contribute and write content for the organization’s blog

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience, ideally for a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of email marketing concepts and best practices
  • First-hand experience with a Marketing Automation Platform (Pardot, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong track-record in successfully delivering lead generation and nurturing programs
  • Instinctively customer-centered mindset. You see every situation through the customer’s perspective.
  • Strongly analytical approach to data and testing – numbers are your jam!

We then meet face-to-face with you to flush out your OCP further and get to know you on a personal level. If following this both parties see a great fit for the role in mind, we then introduce you to our client to go through their interview and hiring process.
